The William Henry Oliver Scholarship The first item in the mission statement of the East Nashville High Alumni Association is "To persevere in the recognition of worthy young people by providing scholarships to deserving East High graduates and their descendants".
In this spirit, the William Henry Oliver Scholarships were initiated several years ago in the name of the person who best exemplifies the spirit of East High.
